How to get it?
- Go for a run: spend at least 20 minutes with an elevated heart rate
- Go for a walk: step high to get your blood pumping
- How about 3 sets of ‘fast feet’ for 30 seconds each set- take 5 second breaks between
Remember: You don’t have to make yourself breathless and dizzy to get all these benefits, just getting your perceived exertion up from easy to moderate will improve your health. AND it’s important to note with Cardio more is not always better- ramping up your exertion slowly will help prevent injury and ensure you body is getting the right amount of work to make your efforts sustainable in the long run.
