Let's be honest, not everyone on the planet knows what a crit is, so keep reading and be enlightened...
Crit is short for Criterium, a classic bike race originating in Belgium that is comprised of a short loops on city streets with lots of fans (This means you can watch the bikes fly by a bunch of times). On Saturday, Vera Fitness is hosting the annual Second Ascent Twilight Ballard Crit.
This year, the race directors wanted to find the right sponsor for the women's race. Vera jumped at the chance to be a part of such a unique event right in our backyard. So come join us and cheer on the racers as they descend on Ballard this weekend.
Saturday, June 7 - Downtown Ballard - 3:30pm-7:30pm
Vera Sponsored Women's Race is at 5:40pm.
