This month's program is so big and powerful we had to find the appropriate nomenclature: the Summer Blockbuster! You've been gearing up for this with July's jumps and June's numerous lunges, now it's time to combine your hard earned skills into one tough workout for August. Test your balance, challenge your heart rate, and perform daring tuck rolls and pelvic bridges! Join us for this epic workout as the warm weather continues, the Summer Blockbuster is more thrilling than anything you'll see in theaters this season.
Flamingoes are known for their uncanny ability to stand perched on one leg for hours at a time. You too will have the strength and poise to balance on one leg once you've practiced our July routine. With a combination of strength, balancing, and plyometric moves- many performed while standing on one leg or on an unstable surface- this routine is bound to test your limits. We were also inspired by the fact that healthy, well-fed flamingoes develop feathers that are a brighter hue of pink than their unhealthy counterparts. We think that this rountine will leave your cheeks a bright, healthy shade of pink as well!
This all-over toning Kinesis workout gets into those spots that women love to hate: abs, butt, inner thigh and triceps! You'll look ready for fun in the sun in no time. We look forward to seeing you at the studio!

Calling all praying mantids! March's Praying Mantis program of the month is a challenging and fun workout incorporating some yoga poses with resistance, plenty of balance work and some martial-arts infused combat moves to keep Vera women on top of their game. A great full body work out, this program is destined to "kick" us into high gear.

Always a core workout on the Kinesis wall, Love Bites Program of the month really "bites" the deltoids (shoulders), upper back, glutes and abdominals with overhead presses, ab rolldowns and sit ups and bosu balance moves against resistance. Get ready to "love" the results!
Twist and Shout

Twist and Shout is a fun total body workout that will keep you moving in every direction. Each module will have you twisting your trunk using slow deliberate movement that prevents momentum which would allow cheating. Concentrate on twisting at the waist rather than the hips or legs. This ensures activation of your core muscles particularly the obliques and quadratus lumborum. You'll find many exercises mimic everyday activities and sports such as swinging a baseball bat, golfing, or climbing stairs.

The Solstice Workout was designed by the Vera Fitness trainers. Each month the Vera Fitness trainers design a new workout for the Kinesis. The Solstice Workout was introduced in June. Check out the video to see a brief explanation of the movements.
