Focused and Personalized Training
The hour-long session led by a Vera Fitness trainer combines cardio, flexibility, and strength training using the
Kinesis, a
revolutionary piece of equipment that enables 360 degree free range of motion. The result is a flexible and holistic workout that
can be accomplished in a short period of time.
Sessions
Foundation or
Evolve allow clients to workout out on the Kinesis at different fitness levels.

Cardio is an integral piece to every customized Vera workout. The cardio-pod includes state-of-the-art elliptical machines, treadmills,
and the Cardio Wave, each with its own focus on a different muscle group.
Don't forget to ask for one of Vera's pre-loaded iPods included in each session.
“Kinesis is born out of the need to bring people closer to physical activity to improve the quality of their life. The inspiring principle
is to rediscover the beauty of movement by means of free and natural movements.”

Kinesis Training
The Kinesis is revolutionary strength training equipment that enables
free range of motion. Our trainers have over 700 recorded movements
to choose from when customizing a workout. The Kinesis is a wall unit with 4 pods, allowing friends to train together at their own fitness
levels. It is truly unique and adds to the overall spa-like look and feel of the studio.
Foundation
Foundation approaches the Kinesis and training in a focused and gentle way. Here we will be slowing down movements, refining posture and form, and perfecting the technique of each lengthening movement. This is a great place for clients pursuing more core stabilization, and also for new or returning clients wanting to get to know each movement on a detailed level. The emphasis is on alignment and body awareness, building stability for injury prone areas, improving muscle endurance, and enabling proper muscle recruitment within a varied workout. If you are a newer client, have physical limitations, or if you just feel like moving at a slower pace,
Foundation is the place for you.
Evolve
Evolve is a faster pace version of Foundation. Here we will build and expand on the movements of the current program and encourage ownership of the movements. The emphasis of this more intense version is to increase tempo, power, agility, and balance, as well as to build strength while still creating a long, lean and fluid body. If you are a client who is comfortable with the Kinesis movements, and you are looking for a more rigorous workout, then
Evolve is the place for you.
Open Session
Based on the participants, the trainer will choose either the Foundation or Evolve session and can modify for individual needs.
Power Hour
Power Hour combines elements of cardio, strength and flexibility on and off the Kinesis wall for an hour long, high-intensity, full-body workout. If you are looking to take your workout to the next level, boost your endurance or cross-train for a race or triathlon this class is for you. Not recommended for those with injuries. Trainer approval required.
Essentials Hour
Essentials Hour introduces you to fundamental movement and alignment principles that will strengthen your Kinesis practice, improve your posture and aid in correcting muscular imbalances. Due to the detailed nature of this session moves are taught slowly and progressively- we recommend you attend regularly to get the most benefit.
Suitable for those with mild injuries, new to Kinesis, just coming back to exercise after physical therapy or child birth.

In order to experience a holistic workout, incorporating flexibility is imperative. We accomplish this with the use of our flexibility
machines from Technogym. It is a necessary and relaxing way to cool down after a good workout. Vera Fitness is the first studio in North
America to integrate these revolutionary flexibility machines from Technogym.
Nutrition is an important component in maintaining a balanced fitness lifestyle. Our program moves to assist our clients
in achieving this lifestyle with our "12 Week Guide to Clean Eating" nutrition journal. Designed in-house, the journal's
intention is to support you in transforming your relationship with food, health, and wellness. Focused on clean eating
(see definition below), the nutrition journal offers guidance through a twelve week process via individualized goals
and intentions as well as nutrition facts and recipe ideas as a means of fostering a lifestyle change within our clients.
Although the journal is created for a 12 week exploration, our nutrition program is an ongoing process designed to assist
our clients with the lifelong journey towards clean eating.
Clean eating is the practice of eating whole, natural foods such as fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and complex
carbohydrates. It means freeing your diet of refined (man-made) sugar, bad fats (e.g. trans-fat, hydrogenated oil),
hormone-laden meats, preservatives, white bread, and other ingredients that are man-made or unnecessary!
