12 Week Weight Loss Program

Finally a weight loss program that is custom tailored to YOU! Set and reach healthy, realistic goals while improving your overall health. We will be there with you every step of the way to help you create and reach your weight loss goals. Expect to see great results AND develop lifelong habits that will empower you to keep the weight off.

We use evidence based coaching and training programs to help you reach your weight loss goals. Clients experience state-of-the-art VO2 Max and allergen testing, which enables our staff to personalize a twelve week program for you that will include:

  • Collaboratively creating a custom Wellness Vision so you can create compelling goals
  • Weekly coaching sessions that keep you motivated and help you continue moving towards your Wellness Vision
  • Creating a custom nutrition plan with a registered dietitian; includes one follow-up appointment
  • Completely custom workout program based on your body parameters and goals
  • Suunto training heart rate monitor
  • Exit appointment including tools for going forward and measurements

For me, the best parts about the program were the coaching with Valerie and the nutritional counseling. I thought that I was eating pretty well, but there were some changes I needed to make. Valerie was great for helping with the behavioral coaching, and Julie helped me understand the science behind the right food choices. 12 weeks goes by very quickly, but I learned how to coach myself through obstacles and how to make long lasting changes. After the 12 weeks, I signed up for once a month meetings with Valerie, and that has been working well. After sustaining an injury and struggling to get my focus back on my health, I decided to join Vera in their Wellness Program. I have to be honest in that I was a little irritated with myself that I "needed help". I have always been able to manage my weight on my own. However, that clearly wasn't working at this point in my life for whatever reason. So I dragged all of my negative perceptions that I had been carrying with me into my first meetings with Jamie, Julie, the nutritionist and to PotentRX for their testing. After each meeting, I walked away with "that was nothing like I thought it was going to be"! Julie was great. She never once told me I couldn't have any of my favorite things. She laid out a sample meal plan that included the foods I liked and could easily see myself incorporating into my diet. The PotentRX results really helped me fine-tune my cardio so I wasn't just wasting my time. I was actually able to know what my zone was and how being in that zone really helped burn the fat. And Jamie, what can I say? She supported me the whole way and talked me through my concerns. There were several things I told Jamie I just "would not do" and guess what? I did them all! The whole process was painless and to this day (week 8 for me) I have no idea I could actually eat this healthy and enjoy it! It happened so gradually I wouldn't have believed it 8 weeks ago. Which, for me, was perfect since I don't like having anything just pushed on me as "mandatory". With 4 weeks to go in the program, I am done with dieting! The weight is coming off and so are the inches. Of course, we would all like to lose 10 pounds in a week. But I know I am not enjoying my life and that isn't realistic or sustainable and I would be back on the weight "roller coaster" again. I still enjoy my favorite foods but I really savor them and I make sure I eat the VERY BEST of what I like. And once I enjoy it, I am done. I highly recommend the program. I am an avid reader and there is a lot of bad information and confusing information out there. Vera's 12 week weight loss program was exactly what I needed to get my new mom body and life back on track. Since my daughter had been born, my good eating habits had deteriorated and work outs were almost non-existent. I was in love with my daughter but I was also sleep deprived, stressed out, over-weight and unable to make time for myself a priority. Working with Val as part of the 12 week program gave me a one on one coach who provided steadfast support as I figured out how to incorporate healthy eating and regular activity into my new life.
